WHO WE FUND
Montage Capital portfolio companies are emerging growth businesses predominantly focused on technology and life science industries. Clients typically offer products and/or services that serve large markets, and offer management and other company stakeholders the possibility of achieving “liquidity” through the initial public offering of stock, or through a sale or merger with another company.
CRITERIA FOR FUNDING
Several factors determine whether a company qualifies for venture debt financing including experience and quality of management team, historical and current financial condition, size of addressable market, intellectual property position, competitive positioning, capital efficiency, as well as other considerations.
Following are some general criteria used for qualifying a company seeking debt capital from Montage. Of course, adherence to these guidelines does not guarantee a candidate will get financing, but rather, it gives a framework for typical minimum requirements:

HOW TO APPLY
If you wish to have Montage Capital evaluate your company for a venture loan, please complete the form provided in the ‘Contact Us’ page of this site, and be prepared to provide the following information upon request:
- Latest 2-3 years fiscal year end financial statements (balance sheet & income statement);
- Most current interim financial statements;
- Most current aging of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable;

Financial projections for a minimum of 18 months;
- Last 2-3 years signed corporate tax returns, including all schedules;
- Detailed capitalization table;
- Business plan;
- Latest customer/investor slide presentation;
- Additional information on request.
Once a company has forwarded the aforementioned background data and financial reporting, the Montage team will evaluate and recommend either:
- A specific structure that meets a company's needs within the Montage lending framework, or
- If the opportunity does not meet the fund's investment criteria, the Montage team will consult with company principals on other financing options.
